Well, it's been a year and a half since my first successful ascent of Mt. Whitney and I'm so excited because I turned in my application for permits for this year and can't wait to go again! Am I crazy? I'm 62 years old and I've already climbed Whitney once. Why the heck do I need to do it again? You just have to do it yourself and then you'll understand why. There is something so breathtakingly beautiful about it and also something so adventurous. And I'm going to help you do it. But first you need your permits so go to the
reservation website and get your application for the lottery in. You only have till March 15th so do it now! It's just $6. I recommend putting in as many dates as you can. You can put in up to 15. Also, dates in the middle of the week are more likely to be available so if you can go on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, do it!
